Dr. Mia Hetényi is a grief expert, writer, psychospiritual mentor, initiated Dagara diviner and Hungarian-American medicine woman with a doctorate in clinical psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is the founder of the Dreaming Awake Institute and Global Online Community. Her vision is to foster conscious, loving and generative spaces for grief tending, ancestral healing and recovering our sense of interdependent humanity through remembering the healing technology of ritual and the spiritually transformative nature of grief.
