Founder of Tianmei’s World Academy—a decentralized “network of classrooms” and cross-cultural, cross-functional educational platform—I am a Fellow at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) in Potsdam, where I explore how inner transformation and systemic change can converge to redesign how we live, learn, and do business. With a background in urban planning, environmental psychology, and human-centered design, my work integrates Daoist philosophy and Eastern wisdom with Western systems thinking. I focus on creating nurturing environments—physical, social, and economic—that empower individuals to reconnect with their true selves while contributing to collective wellbeing. My current research, Transforming Business: Redefining Profit-Driven Models for Sustainable Impact, explores how organizations can evolve beyond extractive logics toward regenerative, relational models of value creation.

In a time of polycrisis, our survival depends not only on systemic change but also on transforming the inner landscapes that shape our decisions. In this talk, I share insights from my fellowship research at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) in Potsdam: Transforming Business – Redefining Profit-Driven Models for Sustainable Impact. This work explores how businesses can evolve from linear, extractive logics to regenerative models that honor complexity, relationship, and long-term wellbeing.

I also present case studies from Tianmei’s World Academy—a decentralized “network of classrooms” I founded that blends inner development, environmental design, and collective intelligence to help people reclaim authorship of their lives and work. This session invites practitioners and changemakers to reflect on the inner architecture of capitalism and what it takes—practically and spiritually—to redesign our environments, organizations, and selves for a regenerative future.
