How can we understand sex & gender from an integral perspective?

Can we connect beyond the tensions and culture wars associated with gender, feminism, queerness?

Immerse yourself in a dynamic and hands-on lab where we explore the diversity and complexity of the topic through the lens of the integral AQAL model.

In a safe and inspiring space, we combine experiential exercises that make different perspectives on gender tangible with mindful dialogues to deepen our collective understanding. We will explore polarities, quadrants, and developmental stages to open new pathways for authentic and connective exchange.

From these insights we will strive to create a genuine and forward-looking gender dialogue.

Disputes about women’s rights, gender based violence, LGBT have become one of the most controversial topics worldwide. On the one hand, the demands for gender equality and the acceptance of queer and trans rights are advocated strongly mainly in Western countries. At the same time, we see a backlash on basic gender rights in many countries worldwide (like exclusion of women & girls in Afghanistan, fight over abortion rights in USA, criminalisation of homosexuality in Kenya, …).

We will be using the tools of AQAL to gain a deeper understanding of the complex field of sex, gender, identity, orientation, roles, behaviour, … unfolding with the stage development of consciousness from pre-modern value systems through the feminist equal rights movement up to today’s gender and LGBT politics.

What learnings can we take for an integral Gender Awakening 2.0?

At the beginning, a short presentation is given to introduce the topic:
The pressure to adapt to the conditions of an organization can be understood as a narcissistic trauma. In our personal socialization strategies develop how we deal with this trauma. Often an organization develops a momentum of its own in which the pressure to adapt is not reflected. The interaction of personal strategies and organizational structures is a constant field of tension. Conscious handling is an important characteristic of an “integral” organization.

This is followed by an imagination exercise: It is about sensitizing the learned strategies in dealing with the pressure to adapt in organizations. Already as children we develop strategies in dealing with parents, kindergarten and school. Later it is the education and the professional life which takes place in organizations.

This is followed by an exchange of experiences with the focus on how my personal strategies are reflected in my current dealings with organizational structures.

Afterwards results from the work of Integrales Forum holacratic shadow circle will be presented with the desire to start a further exchange with other integral organizations on the subject.
