Project: The Purpose Road To Teal: Connecting Startups and Corporations to Their Purpose,

Using two case studies from the field Dr. Karafiath presents how bringing purpose into the company consciousness can be beneficial to companies big and small. We showcase examples of a tech startup and a fairly large European tech company (1400 software engineers). We present the culture transformation process where we first connect the companies to their ‘why’, connecting them to their higher purpose, a real teal state. Then we present how we bridge the gap between their state and the teal state using purpose as an anchor.

Balazs Laszlo is a culture designer & mind-shift coach. He works with leaders and change-makers harnessing the power of culture and consciousness to nurture change and transform the world one company at a time. He co-founded Europe’s biggest and best week-long music and arts festival, Sziget.hu, when he was 20. His second startup, Carnation Group was acquired by WPP in 2012. His third company Darwin’s Marketing Evolution is based on his PhD work using meme science to transform corporate culture.
