I am going to share some of the ways I apply the Integral Theory (AQAL) in leadership and organizational development programs that I conduct for business companies in Ukraine and some other Eastern European countries. In other words, how I try to make these programs more integral and holistic.
Most of the corporate pieces of training I had been coming across as a top-manager were fragmented, usually focusing only on specific “horizontal” skills or techniques. As the famous saying goes, “If the only tool you have is a hammer, you will start treating all your problems like a nail.” I don’t believe today’s leaders need more hammers or even more powerful hammers. Instead, they need larger toolboxes that may fit a greater number of more complex, sophisticated, and subtle tools.
That’s why since the start of my coaching and leadership development practice three years ago I’ve been trying to design developmental programs that help leaders see their personal, professional, and organisational growth from broader and more integral perspectives.
In particular, I am going to speak about three of my most common working formats: leadership coaching based on the Integral Coaching® method, the two-day “Evolutionary Insight” training, and the longer (four to six months) “Upgrade Leadership Team” program for teams of corporate top-managers.
