We all live a life on the edge – standing at the intersection of identity and on the precipice of what’s to come. International speaker, author, life coach and interfaith minister Joran Oppelt explores the boundaries and future of spirituality through the story of his quest for beauty, goodness and truth. This motivating and inspiring program provides you with the courage and the tools necessary to follow your own edges and move beyond them.
Integral Church
Integral Church is an interspiritual and interfaith community. It is our mission to deepen personal transformative practice, engage in community service and promote religious literacy.
We embrace both wisdom and knowledge by including the beauty, goodness and truth found in the world’s myths, creation stories and faith traditions as well as scientific findings from psychology, biology and cosmology.
We want to bring religion into the 21st century by replacing hierarchy with holarchy and practicing religion in a post-modern setting.
We are reclaiming previously stigmatized words like “church” and “religion” for those raised on pluralistic beliefs, multiculturalism and universal values.
We express the three faces of Spirit-in-Action (“I,” “we” and “it”) as we embody these values in our selves, express them throughout our culture and honor them in nature.
About Joran Oppelt
Joran Oppelt is an international speaker, author, interfaith minister and life coach. He is the owner and founder of Metta Center of St. Petersburg and Integral Church – an interfaith and interspiritual organization in Tampa Bay. Joran is the author of Sentences, The Mountain and the Snow and co-author of Order of the Sacred Earth (with Matthew Fox) and Integral Church: A Handbook for New Spiritual Communities. He has spoken around the world about spirituality and the innovation of religion.
