Tour Info Day 1: Freud, Mozart, Vienna

Hello IEC Friends,

As the momentum is catching up for the April IEC Regathering, we’ d also like to inform you about the tour details that will follow the 2-day gathering. Many of us want to see Vienna and Austria beyond the conference hall and have fun together. In this email you will find the program for Day 1.

Day 1 focuses on Vienna City with a leaning towards psychology with our visit to Freud’s home.

09:00 – 11:00 – First we visit Sigmund Freud’s apartment and experience his world-famous room as a symbol of psychotherapy. Experience and absorb the feelings and vibes of the root of psychology where it all happened!

11:00 – 13:00 – Next we tour the house where Mozart grew up. The Mozarthaus Vienna was Mozart’s residence from 1784 to 1787. This building in Vienna’s Old Town is his only surviving Viennese residence, and is now a museum.

13:00 – 15:00 – Walk downtown. Have lunch and walk with your integral friends in downtown Vienna! Experience the real Viennese vibes, and trying an authentic Viennese coffee house is an absolutely must!

15:00 – 18:00 – Visit the Schönbrunn Palace (literally means: “beauty fountain”). Schönbrunn is a very spectacular, huge, and glamoros emperor’s palace, the former imperial summer residence of Maria Theresa and later Franz Joseph, rulers of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy located in Vienna. The 1,441-room Baroque palace is one of the most important cultural and historical monuments in the country!

18:00 – 22:00 Enjoy a free evening with your integral friends. Dine, wine, chat, integrate, or rest as you wish.

We will leave on the country adventure tomorrow morning.
