SPECIAL EVENING SHOW

Integral Cinema Dialogue on new Wilber movie Grace and Grit and Integral Art

Sebastian Siegel film director in dialogue with Ken Wilber. Special guest: Julia Ormond, Hollywood star actress!

10:00 PM – 11:30 PM (CEST)

MORNING PRACTICE

James Eaton

Finding true safety in uncertain times

7:00 AM – 8:00 AM (CEST)

Through meditations, live music, silent connecting, sense-based exercises & intimate dialogues, James will guide you with gentle precision towards realising who you really, REALLY are, on the deepest level.

From that ‘place’ of clarity and openness, you will begin to acknowledge the unconscious fear-based patterns, self-beliefs and physical clenches that block you from expressing fully, freely and authentically in life.

In discovering how to meet those uncomfortable feelings from the unconditional, loving openness that you truly are, those frozen blockages can begin to thaw enabling your essential qualities—of sensitivity, tenderness, playfulness, courage, compassion, strength, power, etc.—to naturally flow.

In the atmosphere of absolute acceptance and support that James offers, there is also the chance to PLAY with acting spontaneously and intuitively—with LIVING freedom.

PRESENTATIONS WITH WORKSHOPS

ROOM 1

Integral Psychology

Jon Skelton

Pearson From Drama to Dharma

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (CEST)

In this workshop, I will demonstrate how we construct and reinforce the feelings and beliefs of our shadow.selves in relation to others, by enacting dramas that may last from thirty seconds to thirty years. We will have fun playing Drama Detectives and figuring out how dramas have their roots in the first two fulcrums. I think the most integral shadow-work is fulcrum-discrete and agentic in tone. I want to complement this by adding the communal, relational element.

BREAK

10:30 AM – 11:30 AM (CEST)

The Inner GPS and the Five Disciplines of Thought

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (CEST)

A growing number of people have already begun to navigate their lives using transrational cognitive processes – often without being fully aware of what they are and how they work. Vivian Dittmar has identified four distinctly different disciplines of transrational thought: inspiration, intuition, intention, and the heart intelligence. Together with the fifth discipline of thought, our rational mind, they form our inner GPS. In this workshop, Dittmar maps out the characteristics and inter-play of these five disciplines of thought, providing you with a deepened understanding of each cognitive faculty and inviting you on an experiential journey to explore them through guided meditations.

ROOM 2

Organizational Development

To stay or to leave

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (CEST)

Or how to use your emotions as a guide in dealing with resistance in organizations

Many of us know the ambivalence, when we are in a situation (be it a customer project or our own organization) where we meet a lot of resistance and we don’t feel we can do much about it. Should we leave or stay? What are the criteria for one or the other choice? What can we do if we like to stay but just feel powerless and ineffective? How can we work with the situation to unlock the potential in us and in the organization?

In the perspective of the organization it might be good if people with an integral understanding don’t quit the job because they feel uncomfortable and unappreciated, but rather stay, bear the tension and keep shining the light and the understanding and give the time and space for the organization to evolve in its own speed. But there are situations where the organization is not willing or not capable of evolving and in such a case our staying might be a waste of energy.

Most of us know such situations. We would like to explore more deeply our emotions and how we can use them as a guide and learn more about ourselves, how to evolve personally and become more effective in the organization.

Format of the workshop

We start with a short overview of the integral map. To work on the subject we will do several guided working groups, using the map and evaluating your own personal situation and organization applying the concepts and discussing them in small teams

We-Flow: Integral We-Space for Businesses

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (CEST)

Coming to We-Flow is stepping into a learning field of “access”.
In the field your capacity expands, to call in whatever state or quality that’s needed to enact what is most important for you in the world.

We-Flow is an awareness-based social technology. It has emerged from the collective desire to integrate we-space practice in any professional context. We unfold 3 phases of Landing, Receiving and Making to identify desired outcome, receive from the unlimited field of abundance and turn it all into purposeful action.

The practice has enabled its participants the incredible fusion of human nourishment & efficiency. It is currently used to serve several entrepreneurs, companies, and business cultures. Our collective runs Weekly online sessions, a Stewardship Certification program, trainings every 2 months, with more than 150 professionals already served.

In this workshop you will experience the latest developments of this constantly evolving practice, and get the opportunity to bring your work into the space.

Before you join the workshop you may playfully ask yourself:

Am I inviting the possibility of being heartblown & mindblown?
Am I willing to aim for 100% play and max 69% seriousness?
Am I willing to invite my spontaneous genius to flow into creation?

We are looking forward to welcome you and your limitless potential in We-Flow.

Integral Spirituality

Integral Meditation for Hyperobject Meta-Awareness

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (CEST)

Integral Meditation (IM) is a powerful process and emergent teaching of cultivating vo-luminous empty awareness which one can use to investigate all sorts of objects—gross, subtle, causal, and nondual events. In IM work with adult development stages, or “Growing Up,” is interwoven with progression through awareness states of “Waking Up” as well as various methodologies of “Cleaning Up” (i.e. multilayered shadow work) and “Showing Up” (via all-quadrant enactment). It is aimed at intensifying consciousness, co-enacting multidimensional We-space vibrancies, and facilitating vertical transformations. It allows not only experiencing states of profound psychological and embodied shifts (and change in all quadrants) but also cultivating a meta-awareness container that enables experiential investigation and cognizing of even the most sophisticated objects. Timothy Morton coined the term “hyperobject” to designate entities of such vast temporal and spatial dimensions that they cannot be grasped by our ordinary human consciousness. The global event of the COVID-19 pandemic can be seen as such a hyperobject—a mega-event that has been developing rapidly in multiple directions and dimensions. It can be argued that holistic and cohesive exploration of such a hyperobject requires undergoing profound growth both in our structures of consciousness and our awareness states. We will use the Integral Meditation process to guide us through aspects of this transformative process and explore the COVID-19 hyperobject within an experiential AQAL matrix in order to assimilate its energies as they are existentially relevant to our evolving being-in-the-world. IM itself represents a combination of Ken Wilber’s Integral Metatheory (as described in his book Integral Meditation and other works) and Holoscendence (an experiential approach originated by Sergey Kupriyanov, MD, PhD in Medicine) as well as original contributions by the authors of this online workshop.

Our Relationship to Time: Sacred Rhythm

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (CEST)

We closed our eyes, we woke up; and all were unified by a trigger that invited us (globally) to step out from our outer experiences driven by linear time; into an inner experience within our caves (homes), returning to ourselves (social distancing), reconnecting with rhythm (nature) and a more intimate relationship with Time, the present moment (now).

For eons, human experience has been guided by clock time, in service of “our doing”. This has resulted in separation from our intimate and unified connection with the universe in service of “our beingness”, and its sacred rhythm, universal Time.

This has NOW shifted.

ROOM 4

Conscious Ageing

Conscious Ageing – an ongoing project

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (CEST)

In 2014, I and Mark Davenport, my husband, were present at the second Integral European Conference with the topic “Ageing”. Afterward, we started to invite people into video podcasts who were willing to talk about their experience, their own getting older, or what they find when accompanying others in their ageing process. After Mark’s unexpected death I also inserted the topic of severe illness, death, and accompanying dying. So far 74 podcasts to the topic are available at www.TheWisdomFactory.net

For the Integral European Conference Online, I have invited some of my previous guests to share their insights and wisdom regarding ageing. They will talk about their practices of facing the reality of life while moving on in the best way possible. How can we help others to go through this special period of their life as well?

An Integral life practice for conscious ageing

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (CEST)

Is it different, an Integral Life Practice for conscious ageing from the “regular” ILP? And what does it mean to live well in a process we call life and that will end with something we call death? How can we live conscious in a process of decline? What are the needs of the individual consciousness in the process of ageing, and can they leed us to becoming more and more aware of a higher consciousness?

In this workshop we will go together through the four quadrants of ageing, through some lines of development which are involved, and some aspects how different types can experience this process. We practice short methods and will share our experiences with that, what the process of ageing can bring with it. We will try to identify our manifest, subtle and causal perspective on ageing, and will get some insights what can be done to live an more and more declining lifetime in an conscious, accepting and hopefully joyful way.

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM (CEST)

INTEGRAL SINGLES DATING EVENT

It is no secret that many integral singles yearn to be in a love relationship with an equal and opposite partner. Alas, we have very few opportunities to meet compatible 2nd tier people in our day to day lives. And if we do, they are often clients or patients that are off-limits.
So there is no shame in having a secret hope or even open agenda to find/attract a life partner at a conference like IEC.
In fact, I know of several Integral couples who met by chance or fate at such events.
However, flirting or “hitting” on people can be awkward, embarrassing, and even inappropriate, and many of us are introverts who don’t even try.
To help out Cupid a bit to find the right people for his arrows, and to give interested singles a chance to get to know each other in a safe, playful and relaxed way, the IEC team has invited me to facilitate interactive integral singles events on the main days of the conference right after lunch.
In our zoom meeting, we will start with a guided meditation about what we want to co-create with a partner at the level of all seven chakras. This will be followed by paired in-to-me-you-see exercises, and an activity in which the participants will give answers to yes-no dating questions by moving into separate zoom rooms. At the end of each singles event, you will have a good sense of who you would like to get to know better. You can then confidentially share their names with me and we will let you know if there is a mutual interest.

A second-tier perspective on coronavirus in times of climate emergency

4:00 PM – 4:30 PM (CEST)

As integrally informed people, we want to have the largest possible perspective on the current crisis. How is our human perspective changed if we look at it from a non-human perspective? To me, this question has brought new insights and new capacities of the heart. But from an integral perspective, insights and capacities also call for action. Saying we shouldn’t go back to normal isn’t enough. How can we really take a fork in the road? I’ve been thinking about this and want to share three powerful demands we could put into the public conversation.

Holacracy®: Encoding Teal into your Organizations

4:30 PM – 5:00 PM (CEST)

Reports about the state of the modern workplace reveal the management hierarchy’s failure to unleash the potential of the people working within it. An overwhelming number of employees feel disengaged, disempowered, and disconnected from both colleagues and their organization’s purpose. The efforts of even the most enlightened leaders are all too often hampered by the constraints of the outdated system in which they operate. How, then, can forward-thinking leaders fundamentally resolve the systemic issues that limit their organization’s potential? Teal principles and practices hold promise, but many organizations aspiring to “go Teal” struggle with the gridlock that can plague flat management or consensus-driven decision-making. Brian Robertson, the founder of HolacracyOne, offers an inside look at Holacracy – a practical, customizable framework for self-organizing. In Holacracy-powered companies, every team member gains a voice in evolving the structure and workflow of their team. In addition, each individual holds real authority to act as the “CEO of their role,” making meaningful decisions without battling politics or power games. Today, over 1,000 companies around the world are using Holacracy to make Teal principles a reality within their organizations.

Integral in Africa: Africa through Spiral Dynamics

5:00 PM – 5:30 PM (CEST)

Dr Rica Viljoen reflects on how various Spiral Dynamics codes manifest in Africa, during this keynote address. Specific emphasis is placed on conceptualising the forgotten spiral dynamics code: Beige, and how it manifests in this continent. It is argued that without integrating Beige, humanity cannot become second tier. Further, a unique celebration of Purple is presented. This Code is uniquely positioned as the key to humanity. Red, is repositioned as a positive and important niche that enables Jungian Individuation. A colourful exploration on how Blue, Orange and Green come together to weave diversity of thought in the oldest continent, follows. Ultimately, dr Viljoen will reason that second tier thinking is alive and well in Africa and that just maybe the world can remember deep wisdom from African ontology and philosophy in an attempt to embrace Yellow and Turquoise. During the conversation the following six crucial features to be focused on:

• The law of the Spiral

• Multiple Intelligences

• Integrative Structures

• The Power of the Paradox

• The rule of SOME

• Synergistic/Value Management.

Unique reflections of the first Integral African Conference, held in 2019, will also be shared. The next sister conference of the Integral European Conference is planned for 2020. In the worlds of Jung: “if father Europe and mother Africa unite, the divine child called transformation is born.” An attempt will be made to showcase the age-old soul of diverse Africa.

Doshin Nelson

Whole Spectrum of Shadow Integration

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (CEST)

The simple definition of individual shadow is the “me” I can’t see, and collective shadow is the “we” we can’t see. These unseen shadows profoundly impact our lives and relationships as they influence our states of mind and the structures of our personalities and sub-cultures. Ken Wilber defines Shadows as addictions and allergies in states and structures and what drives them. In order to see “what drives them,” Integral Zen explores karma, Attachment Theory, Reich’s character structures, chakras, preverbal trauma, shock and developmental trauma, developmental theories, instincts, archetypes, demons, deities, disowned and undeveloped personality structures, collective shadows and state shadows. All with the intention of Waking Up, Growing Up, Cleaning Up and Showing Up as awakened, grownup, healthy human beings who can look from absolute clarity with deep selfless caring at everything arising in our experience. We have found that we need to add something in between the Growing Up and the Cleaning Up. That something we need to add is Fucking Up, because that is how we truly learn. If we have to play it safe, we are not free to make mistakes and learn from them. We are frozen in fear unable to grow, learn and awaken. Becoming completely still, absolutely silent and realizing the emptiness of self nature is the key to the gateless gate of the pure land where suffering ends and shadows are integrated into a living context. Come experience the whole spectrum of Shadows.

 We Space Practices

Jacqueline Horani

Conscious Contracts: Creating a WE-space in our agreements with others

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (CEST)

The Integrative Law Movement is shifting the paradigm of how lawyers and clients interact. Together, we will experience how we can shift the starting point of negotiations, relationships, and contracts to create a WE-space that allows co-creative flow to emerge—whether or not you are working with a holistic attorney!

In Integral & Teal Communities we discuss the importance of bringing our whole selves to our interactions with others, exploring our light and shadow sides, engaging through our values, and understanding how to communicate with others even when we are not operating at the same level of consciousness. How would it look to bring Integral Theory into our explicit (e.g. formal oral and written agreements) and implicit contracts?

We will briefly learn about the global Integrative Law Movement, the Conscious Contracts process, and how to bring our vulnerability, authenticity, and shadow sides into the conversation to create a WE Space when discovering agreement with others. In small groups we’ll practice the principles and the process, so you can apply them in discovering your next agreement—perhaps with your next landlord, your next job application, or creating a partnership for a new project idea with someone you meet through this conference!

This workshop is for everyone!

From Resonance to Coherence a path in pursuit of We-Space

8:00 PM – 9:30 PM (CEST)

There are poignant moments when viewing a movie when there is a sequence where we feel both joy and sadness. Often times we hide these powerful feelings and turn away from our companion, fearing over-exposure. What if we do not turn away and allow these complex and potent feelings to settle into a resonance to be felt between two or more people? This would be utilizing external resonance to achieve coherence…the path toward We-Space.

In this online workshop, this will be one of the methods we will transmute these feelings into stable pathways. We will co-create the path from resonance to coherence within break-out groups. We will describe the process of “how we did it” in the main room and collect this knowledge for you to later use in your community and in your intimate relationship. This is a highly participatory workshop for folks with sufficient interior awareness who are capable of showing up in moments of transparency and are willing to feel the unitive experience.

ROOM 4

Circling — Transformational Intimacy Workshop

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (CEST)

The timeless depth of the other starts to light up, the bread crumb trail of their unique continuum of pure and gritty life experience is culminating here and now. It was hidden in plain sight all along. The pathways to their vulnerable heart become transparent. No other has walked that path.

Then comes the mirror. Unarguable plain-as-daylight or hall of mirrors like reflection opens up the source code of our personality – the boundaries we didn’t know we needed, lost children within, parts missed by words, hidden chasms of joy and bliss, kinks in our integrity, remembrances of innocence, dark parts, and keys to our gifts and deepest sense of meaning.

Circling — Surrendered Leadership group experience

8:00 PM – 9:30 PM (CEST)

Letting go, trusting in God, listening to the daemon, following your bliss, non-attachment, connecting with the evolutionary impulse expressing as you, resting in innocence…

If you’re attending an integral conference, you probably already know that “surrender” is at the heart of much of our world’s greatest wisdom teachings and mystical practices.

Ok, but how the hell do we “do” surrender? (Then again, how the hell do we pretend not to?) Especially now, with covid-19? (Then again, how’s now any different?)

This talk is an exploration of the living practice of surrender, drawing from tens of thousands of hours running experiments with thousands of people in the form of Surrendered Leadership Circling, as participants, leaders, and training instructors, facing our darkest shadowy demons, embracing our most radiant all-pervading empty-fullness state changes, asking questions like: What are we surrendering to? Who does the surrendering? Especially recognizing how we’re all one? How do we ‘teach’ surrender? How do we “surrender” to 5th order interconnectivity without tripping into 3rd order codependency? How do hold the paradox of surrendering and leading? What about when surrender is used to justify green-flatland relativity and the oppression of the “my truth” is unassailable claim? Where are the limits of my responsibility and that of others? What about when I’m the CEO of a company, or leader of a group, or head of a household? What about when I’m just a follower?

This exploration asks us to give up everything we think we know, and come with a willingness to be nakedly with the truth (in all four quadrants).
