Ken Wilber articulates the differences between state and stages of consciousness when referencing the similarities and differences of a developmental approach to consciousness awakening with either mindfulness meditation and/or psychedelics. The transformational and healing approaches emphasize a slower method that engages spiritual and meditational pathways toward enlightened awakening vs faster techniques that more often are temporary and not long-lasting from an integrative approach.
In this workshop participants will learn to navigate chaos, complexity, and coherency that arise in the relational dialogue and the inter-subjective field. With these tools, they will become more creative and resourceful when treating body symptoms, trauma, pain, mood and somatic disorders. Through experiential exercises in mindfulness meditation and yogic breathing techniques, direct experience of group participants, practitioner/client demonstrations, and practicum theory participants will explore how to access their core creativity, enhance their resiliency, and develop clinical skills to transform afflicted emotions into positive ones.
