Marija Gimbutas: Anticipating the Future

IEC Conference: 2025

A cinematic journey into the roots of consciousness, culture, and sacred feminine wisdom.

Join us for a special screening of Marija Gimbutas: Anticipating the Future — an evocative exploration of the pioneering archaeomythologist who integrated science, intuition, and mythology into a holistic understanding of human civilisation.

This film is more than a biography — it is an invitation to expand your perspective on history, identity, and spirituality. Through rare archival footage, poetic narration, and reflections by scholars and artists, it opens space for rethinking the mythic foundations of culture, the power of the feminine archetype, and the meaning of integral memory.

At a time when the world seeks more inclusivity, connection, and life-affirming narratives, Gimbutas’s vision is vital. Her work reminds us that the roots of balance, harmony, and sacred connection are not lost — only waiting to be remembered.

Screening followed by a short discussion.
