7 Disciplines of Integral Facilitation

IEC Conference: 2025-pending

The workshop “Introduction to the 7 Disciplines of Integral Facilitation” is a formative experience designed to explore the foundations of Integral Facilitation (IF) and the seven disciplines it encompasses: Integral Map, Systems Thinking, Personal Mastery, Presence, Generative Processes, Communication and Transcendent Dialogue, and Facilitator Leadership.

Over 2.5 hours, participants will learn how these deeply interrelated disciplines address the challenges of complex environments, fostering deep connections, sustainable outcomes, and transformative processes within groups.

The session is divided into a brief introduction, a detailed explanation of each discipline, and a reflective space to integrate the learnings. Each discipline will be presented through practical examples, dynamic exercises, and moments of reflection, promoting a participatory experience.

Highlights include transcendent dialogue exercises to foster active listening and empathy, self-unfolding movements to connect participants with their purpose and inner strengths, and the creation of systemic maps to identify patterns and relationships within groups, promoting a deeper understanding of collective dynamics. Additionally, real-world case studies will be presented, showcasing how the Integral Facilitation model has been successfully applied to the design of public policies in various Latin American countries, emphasizing its impact on creating inclusive and sustainable strategies.

The workshop concludes with group reflection and personal commitments to apply the learnings. This format ensures that participants not only understand the key concepts but also take away practical tools they can implement in their personal and professional lives.

Workshop Objectives:

•Understand the purpose of IF in addressing group and organizational challenges.

•Learn the 7 disciplines, their application, and how they interconnect.

•Practice key skills such as presence, systems thinking, and transcendent dialogue.

•Inspire participants to apply IF to generate meaningful change in their environments.
