We are living through a period of tumultuous economic, geopolitical and technological disruptions: Trump’s upending of the global trading system, financial volatility, and Central Bank Digital Currencies; a seismic shift from a unipolar to a multipolar world order; an epochal transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy; an explosion of Artificial Intelligence and biotech; and profound demographic shifts as many societies age and shrink while Africa’s burgeoning youth are on the move.

Will this volatile cocktail of pressures result in economic, financial and geopolitical fragmentation and conflict? Or will it usher in a new period of economic dynamism and prosperity, enhanced social equity, and greater environmental responsibility? Will a new kind of wholeness emerge like a phoenix from the ashes? And what role can the Integral community play in birthing more egalitarian, peaceful and sustainable global systems? Let’s explore these urgent issues together.

We are living through a period of enormous economic, geopolitical and technological changes: inflation and a cost-of-living crisis; financial instability, volatile crypto-currencies and emerging Central Bank Digital Currencies; China and the BRICS nations’ historic challenge to the American-led economic and geopolitical order; an epochal shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy; an explosion of Artificial Intelligence and biotech; and profound demographic shifts as many societies age and shrink.

Will this volatile cocktail of pressures result in a financial crisis and economic collapse? Or will it usher in a new period of greater social equity, environmental responsibility and economic stability? Ultimately, this depends on how people all over the world respond. How can the Integral community help to turn a polycrisis into an opportunity for Planetary Awakening and regeneration?
