In a world increasingly polarized by ideological divides, how can we cultivate politics that embrace complexity, wisdom, and integration? Dr. Elke Fein, a political scientist and expert in developmental leadership, brings a groundbreaking perspective to this question at IEC.
In her keynote, “Wholeness in Politics – Surfing the Polarities”, Elke explores how an integral approach can transcend political fragmentation and foster dialogue across differences. Drawing from developmental psychology, governance models, and real-world case studies, she reveals how leaders and citizens can navigate societal tensions with greater awareness and effectiveness.
With a background in political sociology and developmental psychology, Dr. Fein serves as the managing director of the Institute for Integral Studies (IFIS) and leads the Center for Integral Politics in Freiburg, Germany. She has coordinated innovative projects like Leadership for Transition (LiFT) – Politics and is the main author of Integral Politics: Foundations, Principles, and Inspirational Resources (2023).
At the heart of her work is the belief that politics doesn’t have to be a battlefield—it can be a space for shared growth and evolution. By recognizing and integrating diverse perspectives, we can co-create political systems that are not just reactive, but regenerative.
Join us at IEC to discover how integral thinking can transform the way we engage with politics, leadership, and societal change—and how you can be part of this transformation.
