Experiencing ourselves as an expression of life rather than a separate entity changes everything. Yet after the initial buzz wears off or just becomes normal, we become aware of the debris scattered in our inner landscape, our relationships and across the planet. We realise that the spiritual reality of unity is not enough to dispel the illusion of separation in all quadrants and on all levels.
At this point, we are asked to take a fundamental decision. We can either retreat to the blissful abode of unity, brushing off the fragmented mess of the inner and outer world as Maya. Or we can take the more ardous path of exploring how unity consciousness might penetrate the illusion of fragmentation.
“I will speak about awakening from a very personal and also feminine perspective. In my experience, the realities of life as a woman have tended to prevent us from developing excessively fragmented views of awakening or wisdom – and do still keep us from speaking about it a whole lot.”
