4 Quadrants of Dragon Dreaming and Medicine Wheel

IEC Conference: 2023

The Dragon Dreaming (DD) mandala holds enduring wisdom from the Purple era of the Australian Aborigines. Walking the mandala’s four quadrants can help us to see and meet ourselves and each other. It can reveal how we walk with differences in our communities, and how our natural differences have been shaped by powerful contemporary and historic forces of the “We” and “Us” quadrants. The DD mandala can also be mapped onto the Native American Medicine Wheel, which provides complimentary insight into our individual and collective landscapes, also shaped by external cultural influences. An experienced Space Holder will facilitate this participatory workshop, which will take place in a co-created Mandala Field. We will embody and explore our Strong Suits, Weak Suits, and Growing Edges – on our own, and with others. This is a fun, and informative exercise, that is both grounding and uplifting. You can go as deep as you like, and will leave you with insights to take forward into your lives.
